Lady Antebellum – One Day You Will… my cancer survivors song of hope
After surviving Cervical Cancer in 2008, this song spoke to me so clearly that I had to put pictures with it to share my feelings of occasional sadness but more so the joy that comes from “holding on” because I know that peace and joy is there. It’s waiting for you and for me!
In Dec 2010 I learned that my cancer has returned. They doctors tell me that I have at the most 24 month before it takes my life. THEY ARE WRONG! Some days I feel like I’m climbing a mountain that is impossible but then I look into they eyes of my two young children and see that faith and hope is what I need to overcome this again.
Update Oct 2011 – My cancer is gone! It is truly a miracle! It is through faith, hope, family and friends that I have made it through 9 months of Chemo. And all my love and thanks to my doctor and nurses at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. They are wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for better care! xoxo
