Cori Eck is one of those inspiring teachers both inside and outside the classroom. In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat it! This year, (2012) it came back. But Cori says as long as she can maintain her normal schedule….cancer doesn’t win.
So, several times a week, she is up at 4:30 a.m. to attend a ‘Fitness Bootcamp’. An hour of difficult and demanding exercises, even though she is going through chemo and radiation treatment. Then, she teaches her second grade class for the rest of the day. She is an inspiration to all who see her. A woman who says the exercises give her ‘life’.
